Frequently asked questions

If your question is not here, call us or leave a request and we will answer it on the call.

Working offline

Does it really work with no internet?

Yes, once a device has signed in for the first time. The clinic’s data is copied onto the device and read from there, and every change is saved locally in a send queue. The target is fourteen full days offline. What still needs a connection: settings, the price list, staff management, the audit log and long-range reports.

What if two devices change the same data while both are offline?

Payments, stock movements and tooth events are only added, so they cannot conflict. Editable fields take the change that reaches the server last, and the value it replaced is kept on the conflicts screen for you to see and restore. Statuses such as issuing an invoice are checked on the server, and an invalid transition is rejected with the reason.

If the machine dies suddenly, do I lose the last thing I typed?

No. The record and its place in the send queue are written to disk in one transaction before the word “done” appears. What the user saw saved stays saved.

Data safety

Who owns the patient data?

The clinic. We process it on the clinic’s behalf and use it for nothing else. A clinic can get a copy of all of its data, and ask for it to be deleted.

Can the Dentr team see my patients’ files?

Not unless we sign in temporarily as one of your users to support you. That requires a written reason, lasts half an hour at most, and appears in your clinic’s audit log with its start, its end and every action taken during it.

Where is the data kept?

On hosting outside Palestine, with a backup every night to separate off-site storage. We tell every clinic this before the account is opened.

Devices

How many devices can I use?

It depends on the plan; each plan’s card on the pricing page shows the number. A device is a browser or an app that has signed in and holds a copy of the data, and several people can work on one device.

We have one PC at the front desk that several people use. Is that supported?

Yes, and it is the case the PIN lock was built for. Each team member signs in on that machine once, online, and afterwards unlocks it with their own PIN. Every change is attributed to whoever actually made it.

Our machines are old. Will it run?

It is built for old laptops and Android phones with 2 to 3 GB of memory. The supported minimum is Chrome or Edge 109, or Firefox 115, on a screen 360 pixels wide.

Pricing

What does it cost?

Three plans in shekels, from one for a dentist working alone to one for a centre with a large team. Every plan has the same features; they differ in team size, devices and room for images. The prices are on the pricing page.

How do I pay?

In cash, by bank transfer or by mobile wallet. Our team records each payment and issues a receipt. There is no card payment in this release.

What happens when a subscription ends?

The account becomes read-only for thirty days: you can sign in, search, print and get your data, but not create new records, and devices keep sending whatever they recorded offline. Renewing within the thirty days brings everything back as it was. After that, the clinic’s data is deleted permanently, so get a copy of it first if you are not renewing.

SMS

Is SMS included in the subscription?

No, it is bought as separate credit packages. An Arabic message is counted in segments of 70 characters, and longer ones are split into parts of 67. You see each template’s cost in segments before you turn it on.

Do the messages contain treatment details?

Never. Messages carry no diagnosis and no treatment detail: they remind a patient of an appointment, a follow-up or a payment due, or carry a general message from the clinic, such as holiday greetings. Any patient can ask to stop them.

Support

How do I get help?

By phone or WhatsApp, Sunday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm. Support may sign in as one of your users for at most half an hour, with a written reason, to see what you see and fix it; it shows in your clinic’s audit log with its start and end.

A staff member forgot their password. What now?

The clinic admin resets it to a temporary password from the staff screen, and the team member must change it at the next sign-in. If the admin loses their own number, they recover the account through their verified email.

Moving from paper

We have years of paper files. Do we type them all in?

We would advise against it. Start with the patients who actually come: register each one at their first visit after you go live, and enter their chart and plan then. The old files stay where they are, as a reference.

How long does the team need to learn it?

The screens are built to be used fast all day: registering a new patient and booking them in takes under a minute, and recording a visit with two procedures under ninety seconds. We set up the prices and working hours with you in the first session, and the clinic starts the same day.
